Insects and Related Fauna

Green Darner Dragonfly by Gary Walker

Insects are the most populous, visible and nonvisible animals on Earth. They have many functions that interrelate with our planet. They provide food, pleasure and pain to all animals of higher order. Insects to some, might be classified as a necessary evil, but for all who live in this wonderful world would not survive without them. Living with and understanding insects and their related fauna such as spiders, snails, worms and crustaceans can leave both children and adults in awe, as they transform out of their larval stages to some of the most beautiful adult animals on Earth, in order they may continue on with their struggle to complete their life cycles.
