Norfolk Agriculture

This painting can only give us a glimpse of the hardships experienced in the farming done by the pioneer fore'fathers of Long Point. With battles against clearing the land, weather and blight those strongwilled people overcame the odds.

The fruits of the vine that Long Point Country provides for its inhabitants are many and those that are blessed with the rich soils and moderate climate which supports this wide and diverse make-up of plants, must be truly thankful.
