Crime Stoppers relies on local media to promote it's program by publishing "Crime of the Week", photographs and informative articles. Also working hand in hand with the Crime Stoppers program are local police services. The police are responsible for investigating information that is forwarded by the Crime Stoppers office. Police agencies - municipal, provincial and federal - across the country also show their dedication to the Crime Stoppers by assigning personnel to work in the program.
