VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

The Volunteer Program facilitates the delivery of services and enhances shelter programs by recruiting, screening and training volunteers to support services to abused women and their children. This program also provides assistance with fundraising projects. The Volunteer program reaches into the community through involvement with United Way, a community based volunteer training. There is participation in High School Co-op Programs and students are regularly placed and supervised by the Volunteer Co-ordinator.
