The Follow-Up Program is an extended support, counselling and advocacy service to women who have left an abusive relationship and are living independently.
This program is delivered in a woman's home or another appropriate setting and includes counselling, advocacy and support services, assistance in accessing appropriate community resources, transportation to important appointments and/or facilitating the transition from the shelter to independent living. Another component of this program includes legal advocacy, assistance in preparation for legal appointments, accompaniment to legal appointments and court.
