Tuliptree/Yellow-Poplar, one of the largest of the eastern hardwoods which will grow up to 150 feet tall and 6 feet in diameter and usually with a straight branchless trunk. the leaf is four lobed with a tulip like outline. The tulip-shaped flower is orange at the base, with 6 green-yellow petals.
