Black Spruce

The black spruce, one of the most common species of spruce, covers vast regions of Canada, Maine, and areas north of the Arctic Circle. This and other species of spruce are harvested for their use as fuel and wood pulp, and in home construction, shipbuilding, and the manufacture of paper.
