Douglas Fir

Pseudotsuga menziesii

The Douglas Fir is a dominant tree on the West coast of North America which grows to 150-200 feet in height in its natural environments. The Douglas Fir is being introduced in the Long Point Country by land owners who apprieciate this magnificent tree. Shown here is a young Douglas Fir growing on the cliffs of Port Ryerse.
