The Leopard Frog is a medium sized 5-9 cm frog, green to light brown in colour, with large yellow edged black dots on it's backsides. This frog likes to live in the quiet back waters of streams, lakes, marshes, ponds and wet meadow lands. Leopard Frogs eat smaller frogs, worms and a wide variety of insects.

Leopard Frog Diving

The fully webbed feet of the leopard frog are adapted for an aquatic existence. Frogs have the ability to move quickly whether on land or underwater. The amphibians use their powerful legs to kick when swimming and to leap forward when on land.
