Canada Goose

Branta canadensis

The most common goose with a black head and neck, with white cheeks. This goose breeds in coastal marshes and lake shores. They are grazers and can be found in public parks, on the golf course, or farmers fields. Aside from their natural habitats, the grazing habits and the fast growing population of this species and along with the adoration from humans, are in some places, creating a nuisance to society.
