Mniotilta varia
The Black-and-White Warbler is a Wood Warbler and chooses to live in deciduous forests and
nests on the ground set in the base of trees or stumps. This warbler breeds fron southern Canada to the
southern United States. The Black-and-White Warbler forages for insects under bark on tree trunks, hence
the reason it was given the old name of Black-and-White Creeper.
