Call

A small duck found on bays, ponds and marshes. Like all teals they fly in rapid tight flocks and can be found with other surface feeding ducks. The male duck peeps and the female has a soft quack. Both sexes have a blue area on the forward edge of their wings and the male has a white crescent on the face.
