From the earliest settlers on, land has suffered agricultural impact, whether the removal of forests, stumps or rocks, to the pasturing of livestock, planting of crops and the chemical maintenance of the land to continue and provide the produce. Sub-division of farm land to family and commerce has greatly and will continue to be, an ever changing impact on Long Point Country.
