Marmota monax

The Red Squirrel will thrive in any forest throughout most of Canada and the Northeastern United States. It will eat and store many foods like acorns, beechnuts, walnuts, seeds, berries, birds eggs and even fungi. The Red Squirrel has also has the ability to store sugar sap that it harvests from Maple trees.
