White-tailed Deer

TheWhite-tailed Deer is the most common deer in North America. The white tail, used as a visual alarm has lent to it's name, also sometimes known as the Virginian Deer. They are a favorite of hunters and their meat "Venison" if cooked properly is delicious.The Males compete for females in the fall, this is called the rutting season. Their young Fawns are usually born in May and are adorable with their white spots.
